Our Home We live in a spacious yet cozy house in Berkeley, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have a backyard full of trees and a swing hanging from the largest Oak. We spend hours on the weekend tending our garden and keeping track of the different birds that visit our feeders. When we sit on our patio, we can hear the sound of the neighbors’ children playing in the yard or practicing the piano. Our neighborhood is quiet with a very tight and supportive group of neighbors. There are lots of social events so we know everyone on our street as well as the neighbors on surrounding streets. We live near a huge park with miles of hiking and cycling trails, an old fashioned children’s carousel, pony rides, a petting zoo, and an old steam train. We can’t wait to take our child with us on our outings! Smaller parks and playgrounds are within walking distance of our house and our local shopping district is full of families with children any day of the week. We believe we have found the perfect community to raise our child!
