![]() About Cynthia Cynthia grew up in Abilene, Texas, one of five children. As a child, she lived and breathed ballet. Cynthia took classes daily and attended the North Carolina School of the Arts and then the San Francisco Ballet School. Eventually, her intellectual curiosity won out and she decided to go to college. Cynthia has a degree in French and a Masters degree in Hispanic literature. Cynthia is a part-time Spanish instructor at a local community college and has co-authored Spanish textbooks. She loves teaching and especially enjoys the interaction with her students. A life-long dancer, Cynthia is also an aerobics instructor at our local YMCA. My wife, Cynthia Cynthia is the friendliest and most charming person that I know! She is very good at connecting with people, so she makes friends easily and they tend to be friends for life. Anyone who knows Cynthia knows how much she loves to dance. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a ballerina and now she enjoys Lindy Hopping. (Have I mentioned that she is a phenomenal dancer?) Even when we are sitting at home, Cynthia often dances around the room. She has a goofy routine of 1940s vintage jazz steps that she will do on a moments notice! Cynthia is a fantastic cook and is especially well known for her Spanish Tapas nights and her New Years Day menu for friends and family, a delicious spread of Southern dishes from her childhood: ham, black-eyed peas, collard greens and corn bread. Cynthia is always ready for an adventure. Soon after we met I suggested we take a 10-day vacation in Peru. She quickly agreed to go and we both had a wonderful time! Cynthia has a big, generous heart and a fun, adventurous spirit. She very much adores children. I know that she will be a loving and nurturing mother. Im sure you will see that gift in her too. |
